Cypresses
WEDNESDAY 1 JUNE, 7PM
Adelaide Town Hall, 128 King William Street, Adelaide
The ASQ’s second concert for 2011 features Dvorák in two different moods, reflective and nostalgic in Cypresses and full of the joy of a keenly observant traveller in the American quartet. In this program, the ASQ present a new commission by Western Australian composer James Ledger, a work inspired by the idea of people leaving their homelands and the uncertain yet hopeful futures that they face.
